Australian psychadelic rock band Tame Impala. Maybe they’re not as new as they feel to me- and I’m just late to the party? But- Check them out. Their album Inner Speaker came out in June on Modular Recordings. The vocals are growing on me and I’m really digging into their music today.

Photo taken at Runyon Canyon last weekend. I came across this little photo op once I reached the top of the hill. It was foggy, cold and beautiful. I have no idea what this song is about, but it was a perfect soundtrack for the setting at the time. I love this album.

So Harper Blynn here has been touring as Greg Laswell and Cary Brothers backing band and opening for them every night on their recent tour. They played at the Troubadour with Cary last weekend and evidently covered this little gem. I’ve heard great things but this is the first I’ve seen/heard from them… And I’m definitely going to check out more.
